RENK的历史可以追溯到1873年,当时Johann Julius RENK在奥格斯堡的Lechviertel为齿轮的机械生产建立了一个小型机加工车间。1879年,这家年轻的公司搬到了Goggingen社区,直到今天RENK的总部仍在那里。公司于1897年改制为股份制公司,从1923年起,将公司整合到现在的MAN集团。
